Wide entry steps flow into a full-width tanning ledge — a shallow shelf where in-water ledge loungers sit half-submerged. It's the most-used square footage in a modern pool: little kids splash there, adults read there, and on a hot Idaho afternoon it's the best seat in the backyard.
And because gunite is formed in place rather than dropped in as a pre-molded shell, features like this ledge are built to the exact dimensions the family wanted — with a steel-reinforced structure engineered for Idaho's freeze-thaw winters.
